Purpose of Establishment and Business Policy

■ Background of the Establishment of the iFOS

As Japan faces the serious problem of a declining population
and an aging society with a low birthrate, the need for foreign workers is increasing.
In order for this new workforce to maximize their abilities and live safely
, it is necessary to value each one of them above all else.
Izumisano City has the following basic policies as elements to create vitality.

①The Fifth Comprehensive Plan of Izumisano City

Based on the social conditions and trends surrounding Izumisano City, our philosophy is to actively promote sustainable urban development from the perspective of “people” such as residents and visitors.

・Exchange with overseas Friendship Cities
・Multicultural coexistence through Globalization

③Employment and Labor

・Supporting for foreign workers living in Izumisano city
・Creation of employment opportunities according to local conditions
・Promoting an environment in which everyone can work peacefully

Based on this historical background and the basic policy of Izumisano City, we were commissioned by Izumisano City in April 2021 and started as a general incorporated association, Izumisano City Foreign Workers Support Center (iFOS).

The business policy of iFOS is as follows

Promoting multicultural coexitence by emphasizing the perspectives of legal compliance and respect for human rights.
Establishing a one-stop consultation service for foreign workers and local companies to provide a wide range of support on issues,such as employment, residence status problems and so on.
Contributing to the recovery and development of the social economy by producing excellent foreign workes through training and providing daily support for social life.
Deepening exchanges with overseas friendship cities and build appropriate relationships with sending organizations of foreign workers.
In cooperation with Izumisano City, our mission is to act as a bridge between foreign workers, host companies, and the local community, and to connect country to country, person to person, and dream to dream.
